High School Writers' Workshop 2017
During the workshop, students had many chances to do original writing.

Students were asked to bring a piece of their own writing to the workshop. They then had the opportunity to share their writing in small groups during which time peers and teachers offered constructive critiques of the writing.
The books Laura has written appeal to young adults and adults alike. She has traveled and lived with native people in foreign lands. Her experiences enable her to write very interesting stories, many based on real life.
Amy Ely, Blue Horizons volunteer, rounds up great items to give as door prizes! Don Dillehay, president, helps with the workshop.
